La Place Restaurant with Froggies
La Place is a bistro Restaurant in Winchester, Hampshire at a wonderful central location overlooking the Cathedral. It is a short walk from the high street and central parking.
The restaurant upstairs is spacious and has a French ambience, whilst the evening à la carte menu also introduces an international flavour.
Froggies at street level is an ideal rendezvous, and also serves lunch & specials, with of course our signature planches.
In the evenings Froggies is vibrant yet always discerning, with a continental atmosphere for easy conversation. The two rooms provide plenty of space, both offering the full menu choices and with one side including a friendly bar & greeting area.
The La Place restaurant can be busy and one is advised to book, the food is always sure to delight and is prepared freshly to the high standards you expect and we ensure.
The restaurant takes reservations for private dining and festive functions, but Froggies will always be open late morning and for the lunch or snack menus, with specials as for every other day.
